Marnie's Bio

MARNIE BAUMER (aka the Blonde Baumer) is a critically acclaimed international musical theatre actress, solo performance and voice over artist. She is originally from Michigan, USA where she received a BFA in performing arts from Wayne State University, Detroit.

UK credits include: Mrs. Potts in Disney's Beauty And The Beast (UK Number One Tour),The Diva in Miss Sign On: The Untold Story Of A Diva On the Dole (Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2008 & Off-West End at the Warehouse Theatre)and Fairy Snowdrop, the goodie, in theBROADWAY's Sleeping Beauty Pantomime (theBROADWAY) . She was a co-host of Time Out London's Critics Choice: All That Jazz! (Soho Revue Bar), Featured Soloist in MMP's Cabaret Confidential (London's Theatre Museum) and solo cabarets (Cellar Door, Volupte).

New York Credits include: Performing in her one woman show Animato In G: A Tribute to Women in Animated Film (NYC, Chicago, & Yale University). Performance Associates has optioned Animato for development into a full length musical to reopen Off -Broadway of which Marnie is currently writing the book. Other New York Credits include: Itchy in Girl Gang (Atlantic Theatre Stage II/ New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF), Brooke In The Water Coolers (Orlando), Patty in Tusk: A Musical (Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre/NYMF), Anna Maria Morellli in The Winner: A Brooklyn Fable (Abingdon Theatre/Midtown International Theatre Festival),Susan in Baby with the Bath Water (Looking Glass Theatre) and Jenny Wainwright in Gold Rush! (Off -Broadway Promenade Theatre & US National Tour)
